Mineral exchanges across Enceladus Prime are reporting unusual volatility as independent excavation crews begin to leave a measurable mark on local supply. Such large deliveries noticeably influence mineral prices, prompting renewed interest from speculative traders hoping to profit from shortages they helped create. Exchange analysts caution that the market remains influenced by enough competing industrial activity to make such schemes unreliable, with aggressive attempts at price manipulation just as capable of leaving a captain with a hold full of depreciating ore.

Eon Revises Model E Limits

Eon Interstellar has issued another revision of the Model E operating specifications following reports from pilots testing the limits of its StarCAT stellarator and its signature Curie-point radiator. Company engineers confirmed that the iron-droplet cooling system performance was estimated with simulations rather than based on empirical data, and droplets driven past their practical temperature range simply boil away, limiting real-world cooling performance of the radiator. A separate controller defect caused new StarCAT units to respond as if already damaged and become inexplicably more stable as they deteriorated. Eon engineers reportedly identified both problems during pre-release testing, but updated hardware was approved for shipment before the revised control software and operating limits were finalized. The company has now distributed corrected stellarator firmware as an OTA update.

OMS Impact Reports Faulty

Enceladian maintenance crews have traced a series of inconsistent collision-damage reports to a defect in the Onboard Maintenance System telemetry interface. During heavy impacts, the OMS diagnostic bus could interpret repeated strain-sensor packets as separate measurements when synchronizing reports from different ship systems, effectively registering the same mechanical impulse more than once. The latest release of OMS software now timestamps and reconciles impact samples before forwarding them to damage-control systems. Enceladian shipyards will be installing this upgrade free of charge as part of the pre-flight inspection.

  • The mineral market will now react to your trades. Large-scale trading can significantly influence mineral prices, while market fluctuations remain sufficiently unpredictable to make speculation risky. Existing saves will account for previous trading activity.

  • The “missing child” storyline will now be marked as completed if the ship being searched for is destroyed during the salvage operation.
  • Voyager RSLS fabrication speed will no longer depend on your framerate.
  • Manual controls can now fire thrusters that have one of their damage values maxed out, as long as the thruster is still physically capable of producing thrust.
